Hy my name is Stefan i don't want a reiki attunement what i want from you is to help me with some questions...
> but first of all i would like to speak about me ,six years ago i was attuned to shiki reiki level one by my teacher face to face it was wonderfull spontaneus energy,i worked a little time with this style of reiki it was a very good experience ,last year i begin again it was good but stupid how i was i wanted a reattunement and find a teacher on yahoo group with free distant attunements this time instantly felt the energy but i didn't like it, i went to my older teacher to reattunement me to reiki shiki again but again i feel this energy,i tried to focus on the old shiki reiki energy but in vain...
My questions are this:
1)Could i feel the reiki shiki again and what should i do to feel it again ?


2)if i take level 2 shiki reiki i will feel this energy more or i should feel the old shiki reiki?

Hi Stefan - just a little clarification needed here

When you say you were originally attune to "shiki reiki" I assume you mean Usui Shiki Ryoho, as taught by Mrs Takata?

What was the style of Reiki you were attuned to by the Yahoo Group techer?

1) I would continue to practice the techniques you were taught originally and stop any practices that may have been associated with the style you didn't like. That way you may be able to regain what you originally experienced. However, our experience of any style of Reiki can change over time and practice so what you experience may also change to how it was originally.

2) level 2 of shiki reiki may give you more techniques and practices to help you focus on that style rather than the other so it may be a good idea but first I would suggest what I said above. If you don't already, you could try reciting the Reiki principles every day with your hands in Gassho (prayer position).

It could very well not be the same again. it's my opinion, that when folks are initiated a spiritual empowerment is passed on, that itself had the 'flavour' of everyone else in that lineage.

Using you as a prime example, you had an experience you call 'Shiki'. In that lineage things felt right for you. Now you had an initiation with some other lineage, that might call itself Shiki (?), but there's many lineages. Now things don't feel right for you. You're not the only person to feel something like this, in fact, many folks say it about specific styles.

I personally went through crap with some other styles. Problem is, imo, the symbols placed in initiation are there, period. Their effectivness can be diminished after time, with non-use. How you differentiate is to completely set aside the last initiation mentally. Focus solely on your original Shiki one. And use only the practices that were taught to you in that. It's what worked for me, and it took some time.

It's also the perfect reason to self-treat in your original way, for long times each day. You'll be able to fix this, if i could, you can. If you want what you always used to experience, then only do what it took to experience that. Remember though, in all things spiritual, don't try to latch onto some idea/hope of an experience. Let it be as it is, and it'll work out. Relax, it's important.

what does your first teacher say? it's their responsibility to advise you primarily. And help you should you need it.

You won't cancel anything out like this. you've just had another initiation, so it's gonna be pretty active within you, which is why you feel something different so much. Only thing i can think in this line is if your original teacher agreed to do level 2 with you. though it's important level 2 is doen for the right reasons.

The big lesson in this is for us all to choose teachers carefully. And what's free & easily available, isn't always the best option.

thank you guys for your responses i will try to keep my focusing on my first attunement and the sensation of the energy wich was pretty pleasent and intense had very good results...i forgot to mention that i felt it for some hors but i forgot how i connceted to it it was just for a little time
So Milarepa i have another questions for you how long did it take to feel again the energy and if you were level one level 2 or a master

it took my about 6 weeks buddy. And that was with at least 2 hours self-treatment per day. Also, my perception of things was very important. It was more useful for me to realx into things, let them be as they materialise, and just kept faith that things would be be back to normal. i went through an extreme personal reaction. This is really the worse case scenraio end, and although you're not feeling nice things, i'm confident you havn't that to do through, .

Stick around, and folks here can give many different or varied things. For exmaple, Colin's advice is very, very good. He's a great understanding of things, and is someone who helps me often (though don't tell him that, hehe).
