A few months ago, I drew Zonar every night for about 2 weeks--thought I had successfully used zonar (I stopped feeling energy/heat between my hands) so I moved on to the next symbol (harth.)
But a few days ago, I tried to alleviate my headache with Reiki--and when I couldn't, I drew Zonar, and felt heat between my hand--making me think my karmic issues/blockages weren't permanently dealt with a few months ago like I thought.
Question: is zonar to be done periodically to undue blockages/heal karmic issues? And if those issues aren't dealt with, does that mean I won't be able to use Reiki to alleviate a headache or otherwise give myself or others reiki energy/healing?

Don't know what zonar is I'm
guessing its a symbol. Do you
know what's causing your headache.
I know some people are allergic
to certain foods, chemicals and
such that cause physical or
emotional dis-comforts. When they
remove the offending cause then
relief comes when you use your
energy tools

Hi Pete,

I doubt that Karmic issues block Reiki - unless you want them to, and truly believe it.

If your suffer from headaches regularly you should probably see a doctor, and/or dentist, and/or lay off the Guinness

My personal view is that pain is just a signal that there's an issue, so if it's coming back then whatever you are doing to alleviate the pain is not serving in your best interests. Choose a better option.

Don't worry about the Reiki. It'll be there.

PS Did you train in Tera Mai or Karuna Reiki?

Firstly, thank you both for your responses!
To answer your questions, I trained in Tera Mei Reiki. And yes Zonar is a symbol that, and I quote, "works well with past-life, karmic and inter dimensional issues."
What's causing my headaches is most definitely allergies--I got tested and discovered I have both chronic sinusitis and "severe allergies" as my Ear-nose-throat doctor put it. I'm also in an area--the Gulf Coast part of Mississippi--where a lot of people are diagnosed with this ailment--as there are a lot of allergens. I don't know how to remove the offending cause without re-locating!
John--I previously tried to attune to Kundalini Reiki. When I had "trouble" sensing the energy, one of my Kundalini Reiki mentors stated this was because I had karmic issues/previous life traumas that had to be addressed with Reiki! This gentleman "cleared" my karmic/past life issues--but had to do so two or three times--so I thought it might have to be done again to clear these issues?!
I decided Kundalini reiki wasn't for me--I went back to Tera Mei reiki.
Anyway, if you're still reading, I just thought maybe not having drawn Zonar within months and therefore not having cleared these issues might have stopped me from effectively relieving my own headache pain (which is largely under control with medicine.) Perhaps I was mistaken!

Pete I'm a firm believer in people heal themselves.
Others may facilitate a healing session but the
client is the only one who can go within...IMO

Some years ago here in the Boston area a DR came
down with leukemia and went to Western MA to a
healing clinic where he learned how to eat healthy.
His white cell count started to balance and it was
said his leukemia was in "remission" he went back
to work in the leading Hospital and shortly his white
cells began to return to being abnormal. When he went
back to the Western Ma clinic his white cells returned
to normal. You got it, he left his stressful DR job &
his health returned back to normal. Some choices are
tough to make but you do what you have to do.

First sorry i had entered another arena.... but i am feeling it needed.

i am also using Zonar, it is working wonderfully.

Can you think why you got allergies what behind it. I think no body think upto that level which i see in response.. If everything possible with medicine than why we are in reiki means we are working to developed or take this great soul science upto that level where it is more common used. But i am not saying not used medicine. First i explain little bit

Modern medicine worked for our body and reiki or spiritualaty science or reiki for soul and all diseases which come our body need to crossed lot of phases than entered our body and become dieses and here in your situation or any other ill person definitively effected with negativeness may be that is generated this life or backlife but definitively it is cause of illness so in your satuation yes you are effected some negativeness so it is not need only zonar for solve that problem you need to use power symbol with them and work wonderfully and there are more symbol which work with past life you can also used it...

But definately this symbol worked may be you cannot sense now but you will sense when you continue practice and some time it take more six month to sense their effect due to big negativness and so give more time to you.Some time with reiki big negative convert into small dieses and that also cure with healing with time so not see now give some more time to you.

Nobody clear your karmic issues you need to work.

All spiritual science is working for all so you are wrong in this area my dear friends, the source of spiritual science is one than how it become differ man to man only thin you need to work more on your healing or pratise and everything will normal.

Um...I`m gonna offer some info from another perspective. When I was younger i had to deal with allergies and asthma. I grew out of most of it during adolescence. As far as treating this type of challenge with energy modalities....hmmm, I don`t know. A less mysterious path, might be to look at your diet and the amount of dust or moulds you have in your immediate surroundings. I found, that when i gave up eating most dairy, that my respitory system improved. Things improved again when i quit eating refined flour and some cereal products. Also, if you live close to the coast or large bodies of water, the increase in humidity seems to affect us in a less than positive way. A dehumidifier for your house, along with an ionizer, my help you find relief.
