So, tell me more about yourselves and what you do besides Reiki!

I am married, and have a 2 year old daughter and 11 year old stepson. I grew up in NYC but moved to Atlanta 12 years ago. I have a degree in English (Creative Writing) with a minor in Philosophy - Religious Studies. I am a published poet. If you google "Dana Lisa Lustig" or "Dana Lisa Petersen" (I was married before, hence the multiple surnames) you will find some of my work online. It's more of an "experimental" nature, so if you're expecting rhymed verse, you may be in for a bit of a surprise. I haven't written much since my daughter was born, but those creative hiatuses are not uncommon for me. I used to paint and draw a lot, but these days, most of my creative endeavors extend to photography.

I practice yoga pretty regularly, and enjoy learning more about spirituality and religion. I also love doing kirtan (chanting in Sanskrit.)

I do have a regular day job. I work for a global professional services firm, managing a corporate intranet as part of a knowledge management group. My job can be pretty tedious at times but they are also pretty flexible, which has allowed me to finish school, spend time with my daughter on Fridays and also has given me the opportunity to travel to India five times, which is a job perk that really can't be beat.

Hi Dana;I have taught K-3 alternative public elementary school for many decades. I was one of the parents who helped with the alternative schools inception back in the 70's. I have done my share as a neighborhood activist over many decades including girl/boy scout leader. I am in the process of writing a book about my self healing that reaches back into my childhood growing up in Northern Ireland. My friend Monika who grew up in Germany and lived in India and Japan is in the process of creating a documentary about self healing. I have agreed to be her co - partner in this process of helping people understand through this documentary that we all have an innate power within ourselves to heal and bring balance, harmony, & peace into our lives

I find it synchronizing that many decades later after JFK gave this inspiring speech in 1963 that inspired me to immigrate.... that, Monika and I have come together in this present time period to work and share our common goals through alternative healing.

Hi Guys am a newbie to this site,
I am married 17yrs and am a Mom of two beautiful children, my daughter is 15 and my son is 12 . I lost my beloved Mum to Cancer 6yrs ago and was in denial for 2yrs that the woman was dead before the grief erupted out of me I sadly ended up in the end of a black hole on anti-depressants and then I found Reiki and it change my life for the better and because of it I am alive today . Before starting to work full-time in Reiki I worked as a book-keeper in an accounts dept, I now work full-time in Reiki Healing from a log cabin in my garden and I am the happiest I have ever been. I love to cook especially Italian yummy , I walk for an hour every day , I love to read and I love to travel , my favourite place in the world is called Tobermory in Ontario Canada 4 hours north of Toronto and 2nd fav place is Lanzarote in the Canary Isalnds I love the energy of both of these places.

Myself, I work full-time for a mortgage insurance company. I do all the billing and collections for the underwriting services we provide. A thankless job, but since my "hobbies" are Reiki, taijiquan and qigong, and since I read books like "The Power of Now" or "Why Walk When You Can Fly?", my indefatigable cheerfulness and positivity keeps the rest of the people in my part of the office from jumping out of the 3rd floor windows (okay, so the windows can't be opened; I still think I contribute to their sanity <g>).

I have interests in Crystals, Tarot cards, Jewelry making, Cooking, Research, Being the house clown, well done Horror movies, Jim carrey/pink panther, Cuddling with my cat & hamster, Balancing life, clinking wine glasses and getting lost in that tone, drumming and singing and annoying the heck out of my family members,

- just leading a wild life!

I am a Married Taurus, Mom to 3 beautiful girls, Born in India but lived all my adult life in the US and currently living in Chicago.

I have a Masters in( don't ask ) , Good driver and only foul mouthed in the morning 'drop-off kids in school' hours, have successfully had a marine tank, raised dogs, cat & a rabbit together, Fairly good cook, Bend spoons and watch Sponge bob for fun!

Since I am a mom to 3 , I also became an expert in various miscellaneous skills like unclogging toilets, retrieving lost memory cards, hiding kid caused catastrophies for years from husband, developed the art of disconnecting and wading thru mess without killing myself, to name a few.

My intro to Reiki all started with a ouija board - long story!

Hi Everyone...I am married (8 years) and a Mum of 4, so that's a full time job in itself. Their ages are 14, 12, 10 and 6!!

I am a Crystal Therapist as well as Reiki Practitioner, I have set up with my freind Julie Bliss...bringing you Heavenly Therapies, Earthly Treasures and Psychic Readings!!

We provide Therapy 'parties' or events or whatever anyone wishes to call them, where we take our therapy couch along and provide tater sessions of Body Massage, Crystal Therapy, and of course REIKI for free, we take along our wares to sell, such as crystals oils etc etc.
We also do Angel Card Readings and connect to Spirit
So thats about it apart from I love my Hubby and Children and also My Daisy Dog, Misty, Tom and Rosie Cats! Love the outdoors! And I am blessed to have such a wonderful job working with the Reiki and Crystals as well as Spirit

So where do I start???

Well I'm married to Steve and we live in Warwickshire, UK with our two cats Moet and Merlyn. Moet is fluffy and cute, and Merlyn is even fluffier and getting used to life with us (we adopted her in January).

I try and make a living as a Holistic Therapist, offering aromatherapy, reflexology and crystal healing alongside the Reiki. I have been a Reiki person for over 4 years now, and have also received a Crystal Reiki master attunement from Geoffrey Keyte. I am also a spiritual healer, trainer and assessor.

I have various ongoing health problems and possibly at the moment my own health needs to take priority over earning a living. At least that's one of my explanations for not actually making a living out of the therapies at the moment! However, all my guidance tells me I am on the right path so I just have to trust that.

Your life sounds as hectic as mine....but it's well balanced with the Reiki and Crystals!!
