I have not heard of the Chikara Reiki Do.
Do you practice it?
I do have a copy of "The Way of Being Reiki"
from the Reiki Do organization. Have not got
around to reading it.

No, not yet. But I am considering to check it out. The system is based on self attunement & Judith Conroy is the founder of the system.

Yes, checked it out, got an attunement, felt nothing!
I have plenty of distance attunements by the way, and all of them gave me something, except this one. I think it's because I see them as too commercial and money grabbing. Maybe it's just me.

Thank You for sharing your experience. My experience with Chikara Reiki Do is bit different and I will post my experience with this attunement and what I think about it. Meantime, I hope you do not mind me asking are you talking about distance attunement here for it is rather the self attunement that makes this system different.

I had a good experience with Chikara Reiki Do. I had taken levels 1, 2 and ART 3 with a local Master and decided to do my Master level with CKR as I was curious as to how it would be. I was impressed with the information given to me, manuals, videos etc., along with follow-up and continuing support. Great value in my opinion. My distance attunement was quite amazing and the self-attunement was something I had never heard of, it too was a good experience.
