I have a question for those of you who have had more opportunity to use your Reiki than I have. The few times I have had the pleasure of doing it for someone I have noticed that there is often a 10 minute or so delay between the Reiki and their reporting an improvement. I noticed this both for headaches and for back pain. Have you guys made that same experience or is there something wonky?

frame on recipients healing. I would
be interested in hearing from others.
I'm sure headaches or lower backaches
may heal instantly to 10 minutes after
a relaxing session

Thanks, I guess when I started I always expected that the healing would be instantaneous. I guess that was a little bit of a naive way of thinking about it. It's probably why I noticed the delay.

If you observe other alternative healings
it may take many chiropractor/accupunture
sessions before results show. Healing can
involve emotional,physical,spiritual. The
Reiki receiptent IMO is the one in charge
of the healing process.My role as a Reiki
practicioner is being a facilitator.

on a very basic level, if i can borrow some info form quantum touch. resonance & entrainment. It takes a little time for the other person's vibration to match the practitioners. perhaps something along these lines is a thought?

a 10 minute delay is wonderful that is good news my freind! healing within that level is working at a surface level bringing relaxation and peace, which in itself is a wonderful healer, for deep and lasting healing it is not body but the spirit that requires healing, for what ever issues lie in our spirit are reflected in the body that holds it...

I feel you arise very important question keep it up.

i feel reiki worked same for all issue but it depend on problem deepness and our capablity as much as we rise in reiki we will understand and feel reiki result fast. So in the begining stage yes your right it start after some time but for me it start working same time as i sended...

other friends also explain very well on this this issue like milerapa way...
