    Maybe. Although it works well even when the person on the other end of the phone is another healer, rather than the recipient.

    I've thought that part of what makes healing work effective during phone calls is the opportunity to get confirmation in real-time, and to make adjustments based on that. But I think there's more going on, too; the things you've suggested likely contribute to that.

    It kinda like when we do a proper treatment in absent healing, better results. More focus & aawareness = connection?

    i think its a bit of what both of you have said, also, when you talk to someone on the phone ( not in a healing scenario) don't you get a mental picture of that person.... how they are sat , what they are wearing, their facial expressions etc....? sometimes I quite literally feel like I am sat face to face with the person I am chatting to...

    perhaps our perceptions of the person are more acute when we can hear their voice..?? I honestly don't know....
