are you aware of the physiology of sleep? sounds to me like your bio-rythms are outta sync.... I've just been reading over the spiritual imprints thread( great discourse) which I will participate in when I have more time......but in that thread the pituitary and pineal glands are mentioned.....are you aware of how the endocrine system effects the physiology of sleep?.. I'll write more later I really gotta get outta bed and do some housework now!

A friend of mine used to suffer from narcolepsy until a 'medical intuitive' healer was able to tell her that her pineal and pituitary glands weren't egulating hormones correctly.......she was cured after a few sessions with her....

Any idea of what the healer did, technically? I'm just curious.

Problems with sleep patterns, headaches, thyroid function, etc. have also come up from improper qigong practice. Good instruction and feedback are really important.

The healer mentioned was Robyn Welch, she wrote Conversations with the Body.....she was able to 'see' inside the body and 'talk' to the body parts.....I couldn't tell you all the ins and outs but all the healing took place over the phone.....she also cured my friend of a cancerous growth on her face, again over the phone...... after my friends healings she and I decided to train with Robyn.......it was a very enlightening experience, but subsequent courses didn't come off for a variety of reasons... she is a wonderful healer but there were a few things niggling at me regarding the training....

she is a barrel of Light and Laughs to be around....only sometimes a bit too much in higher realms and missing the reality of this place( Earth)

David ashworth, the guy who wrote 'dancing with the devil' (about Reiki) can do this also. He was helping me with addiciton, and would be able to see into me over the phone, tell me much about my life, and what's going on. Kinda interesting, he said my root chakra was severely blocked, so it was no wonder i was confused between addiction & spirutuality, i was battling within myself, and wasn't grounded enough. He said somehow i'd created another energetic route between my root chakra & splenic, which did let energy flow, albeit at a restricted flow. He said he'd never saw that before, but it's a wonder i was even alive, cause energetically i should be dead, hehe.

anyhow, i'm away to stick my tongue in the socket, to give myself a pick-me-up! It's Friday nigth after all.. .

Oh! Point of fact, the over the phone treatment i had with David, and the ensuing program i went on in which his spirit guides give you 24 hours per day healing has got to be one of the most spiritual, clear, points in my life. I could feel when the spirit guides began healing, and it was fantastic, in fact, it started me on this forum kinda thing (i started my Reiki Bebo group). I also felt just as easily when they stopped healing me. I was meant to take this really seriously, and in a moment of wekness i made arrangments to take drugs. No sooner had i done that phone caoll, than i literally felt the intense spirituality leaving me.

Thanks, Sharon and Wayne, for the descriptions of your experiences. I wonder what it is about telephone sessions that can make them particularly effective. (I like to do distance work that way, although holding the receiver between my ear and shoulder can become uncomfortable after awhile. Switch to the other ear and shoulder. Then switch back, a few minutes later.)

can't you get ear phones and a mike thing that plug into your phone, like the thing my son uses on x-box??

as regards the phone healings...bascically for Robyn at least, this was the medium with which she used to connect to the clients energy field....she could do readings without the telephone, but her payed 'sessions' were over the phone...

I've never heard of david Ashworth wyane, I'll look him up.......

My landline phone doesn't have plugs for such things. My old (prepaid) cellphone also doesn't have plugs for such things. Guess I should look into it if I start doing more sessions by telephone.

Okay, but why does there seem to be a better connection by telephone? It seems to work that way for me too, but I'm still wondering about why that is. The first time I tried distant healing, I visualized sending energy over the telephone company's wiring. But in later sessions, I visualized working on the recipient more directly, and regardless of whether the recipient was the person who was speaking on the other end of the phone. Any thoughts?

coluld it be that during a phone call, since we're actually more phyisically doing something to in contact with that person, and the conversation is generating rapport/connection , tihs accentuates things?
