Ok, so i got almost an hour at the library today, about 45-50 min. anyway got the first 47 pages...
sorry about the mixed-media during the index part, i was seeing what would work best... anyway, turned out scanner grabs the text best, so will continue with that in the following days.

anyway, i created a username and password for the forum (will send to wayne -and you get it from him), its a old domain i redid for a project, so it doesn't work apart from the download part, oh and of course the login.
I compiled the first 47 pages into a 3.1mb .pdf file.

How to get it:
Get password from wayne or take a lucky guess
Log in:
username: RLL
password: *****

then go to the download section, there you will find a black box labelled 'RLL' - klick it and you will be taken to the download section where you will see the file: "Taireido prt 1.pdf"
click the blue arrow on the right to download.

will keep updating as i go along (updates will be posted here)

As it happens, one of my Japanese contacts has tracked down the Japanese version of the book but it would be much better to be able to read it in English than to just look at the pictures!

If anyone can read old Japanese then I can send you the link
The book is apparently in two parts and costs about £27 (pounds) for each part.

Thanks, Frank...I just downloaded it and have already started reading it and it looks like your hard work will be worth it. The Table of contents has some really intriguing sections!

Reading it in installments will make it easier to read and once again I really appreciate your taking the time and effort to share this!

no problem guys, i want to study the book myself so i need a copy cant do that on library time (20days), and secondly i do believe in sharing knowledge and that information should be free (kind of funny coming from someone working in the media industry Haha)
but mostly, this was just too good to be kept by myself - have only come across 4 Copies, 1 in Australia, 1 in New York, 1 in UK (at the moment out on tour to my local library) and yours, Giuseppe. (lucky man)
anyway, i think by grabbing a digital copy, spreading it, we might help it survive for future generations.

by the way just uploaded an update - now its got about 149p (getting better at my scanning skills did over a hundred pages in 1 hour YAY!!)
