10ml grapeseed oil (if you have hempseed oil use that)
    2drops peppermint oil
    2 drops lavender oil
    2 drops rosemary oil
    2 drops tea tree oil
    1 CKR
    Mix all together.

Apply to head and leave overnight (wrap hair in cling film or shower cap). Wash off in morning.

But then I'm an aromatherapist too!

This recipe is better than just Mayonaise. affraid

What other use do you have for grapeseed oil?

It's a wonderful all-purpose oil which is the oil of choice at the hospice for aromatherapy and massage, because it doesn't set nut allergies off. I cook with it too, and it does make a good mayo!

This is the best thread ever!

    Literally!

Like two different species. Didn't someone write a book about that?

Are you saying something may have been added in translation?

i havn't read the book, and prob won't ever. don't agree with it being marketed as being co-authored by Usui sensei. That says enough for me.

Which is why i asked you the question about what Arjava is suggesting. Unless Usui sensei is somewhere in Germany, having a beer with Arjava perhaps, Hehe, Then it was Arjava whom is the sole author, using questionable text puported to be from Usui sensei.

    headlice are little b*stards!!!!!!!!

they are a modern plague ( I have 3 kids and both myself and my daughter have long hair)......and now of course we have the new and improved SUPER headlouse, fast becoming immune to all manner of chemical treatments........I have a zapping comb, all manner of chemical treatments and all manner of gentler treatments........tea tree oil, lavender, conditioner and 'comb them out.......

believe me headlice are a horrible little parasites.....I started a discussion on another board a few years back about the role and purpose of the head louse on earth in the grand scheme of things....there were some very interesting answers!! ahahahahahahahaha

headlice are a scurge and should be removed from the face of the planet along with all other parasites, tape worm, scabies and all manner of nasties which serve no purpose only cause harm....

so to the initial question, in what way would I use Reiki to help the situation??....I would use Reiki as a calming aid to help the infested person not feel out of control, distraught and dirty.... its a horrible thing having headlice and only makes me feel for the poor soldiers in the first world war covered in body lice fighting in the trenches..... all lice should be anihilated from the face of the earth.... and I'd happily stand at the front line with a blow torch...

one lady suggested that perhaps buddhist monks shaved their head to avoid picking up headlice and theirfore avoid killing them..... perhaops they shaved their nether regions too.....??

good to see quite clearly your feelings sharon! Hehe.

My daughter had them recently. Best thing we had, as she's real long hair, was Hedrin liquid gel is without doubt the best. Kill lice & eggs also. also no tolerance is devleoped by the lice. simply put it on for an hour at least, and wash out. no combimg reuired. then do agian one week later.

i bought outta boots, £18 damn pound. i see online it is much cheaper.

I have spent an absolute fortune over the years on various treatments!! thankfully we haven't had them in the house for a couple of years now....but when my daughter was at junior school I literally had to check her hair every single night!! it was a bleeding nightmare! I was so furious one time that I sent out notes to all the houses on my estate asking that parents check their childrens hair!! cos some parents were so blaze about it and sent their kids to school knowing they had headlice and without treating them!!, its NO joke when you have hair down your back..

I've had headlice more as an adult in the last ten years than I ever did as a child!!

so like I said I'd be first in line with a blow torch!
