well theres no right or wrong, only subjective experience....but I was curious as to what people were taught about the 'colours' of symbols as I wasnt taught anything like that.......

Colour of a symbol, wasn't told that either. If given a choice, i'd have liked to know exactly why i place symbols in a head, instead. .

don't get smart boy!! ahahah....when I said theres no right or wrong I was of course referring to how one sees colours regarding the symbols...as stated on that one, there can only be subjective experience...

I would like to know everything about the attunement process from the attuners perspective...as I only took one part of my 'masters ' level where I 'received' the Master attunement but part two is wheere we would have been taught that...and I still haven't found the right person I want to take me to that level yet..

exactly what are you able to share without 'letting out the secret or 'tainting' the sacredness in anyway...??

Exactly, as in what the process is? On James' site, level 1 initiaton is similar to what i learned.

There's many ways of explaining what goes on. Any way is cool. I try to look as deep as i can, that's good for me, perhaps useful for others also, i feel.

In Reiki we got Usui sensei. He had this fantastic mystical experience. Cause of it, he could do miraculous things. He decided to emulate this, in initiaitons. and to pass some of this experience on. some might be deep, and say pass on some of his very own consciousness. This is why lineage is so important, and to be so respected, imo.

Usui sensei empowered 2 symbols, and two Japanese phrases, to emulate certain abilities he had, to emulate a certain experience. What a teacher does, in initiaton, is place these lineage empowered symbols within another. To spiritually empower the other person.

Whereabouts the symbols are placed can vary. Although, in the main, there's 3 key areas. IMO, the importance, or relevance to these placements in Reiki, is crucial. This doesn't mean if i intiated your nose, it wouldn't work. We gotta remember, folks whom have already recieved a spiritual empowerment, such as in Reiki, especially into DKM, can do things like Reiju, which confers some of it possibly, with less symbol influence. What i'm getting at here, is that it may seem that its not important where to place symbols, but if they're placed in key areas, there may be a difference. It may be sublte, or may take years, or more hard work, to realise.

While I agree that “size” from Energy point of view doesn't play significant role it will depend on what we try to accomplish.

During my 2nd level I experimented a lot with symbols and I came to like drawing large symbol(s) ( I never draw symbols by hand) and than “walk into the symbol” and let it “work” on me for some 10-15 minutes.

CKR works so good with me so that I feel like I had very good workout exercise and my overall energy level is much much higher.

However, if I work on my chakras than I draw small symbols and place them in my chakras. I also draw it in chakra corresponding colors.

Also small symbols work just fine for reiki shower, or even for healing relationship. And my “special” use of SHK is when I witness people getting into argument. It is amazing to see instant result. It would be interesting to know if anybody else was experimenting with this and what results you getting but I am not sure if this is right topic or should this be moved to its own topic.

I think now i give the anwser. There is no difference in energy in symbol size. It work same both satuation now question why some reiki master said difference in both.

When i had learned second degree my master told all student there is different in energy size of symbol that time i also felt same but my experience has showed both are right because in the begining stage of reiki required more constration or for developed better constration master used this size difference technic for the beginner and it worked very well that time because they got more option to get more energy ( it is phyclogical technic not more, beginner have less symbol) but when any body perfect constration power they can used any type of symbol all of them have same power.

so in the begining symbol size matter but as soon as any body level increase or got more symbol it hardly matter.
