I guess since meditation i focusing on one thing, in the end no-thing, you could simply visualize whatever symbol you wish?

I do quite a few different symbol meditations.
Sometimes I imagine each symbol above me as I lie down - sort of as if it's on the ceiling. Sometimes I see the symbols in colour, or moving, or turning into 3-D. I go with the symbol.
One I've been doing recently is imagining the Usui DKM superimposed on my body - I find it approximates the shape of the human body quite well.
Another one is to imagine the CKR in 3-D, as a sort of spiral, revolving round my body.
