An Afternoon with Wanja Twan in London,
Sunday 14th June 2009, 1:00pm to 5:30pm.
St Pauls Church, 116 Augustus Road, London SW19 6ED.
£40 (concessions available)
We are really blessed to have an opportunity to spend some time with Mrs.Takata's master in our lineage, Wanja Twan, on her way back to Canada this June. The last time Wanja was in London was 2004 when she gave a wonderfull talk at the Wetland Centre in Barnes. For a lady in her 70's she has incredible energy and enthusiasm and it is inspiring to spend time with her. She is collecting Reiki stories for a book she is writing while in Europe and is asking people to bring stories to share and also written in electronic format for her to take back with her. Of course, she will be sharing stories of her own time with Mrs.Takata and she is an amazing story teller! Wanja also plans to demonstrate a hands on treatment as Mrs.Takata taught her.
The workshop will be in a beautiful church near Wimbledon Common where we did a workshop with Rick Bockner last year. We hope the afternoon timing will allow people to travel on the the day. The venue is in South West London, 5 mins from the A3 into London, & 10 mins from Southfields tube station on the Wimbledon branch of the district line and with a variety of local bus routes incl. the 39 from Clapham Junction.
