Japanese Gardens or Lake District RLL Meetup - UK?

Post by Pachamama on Mon Nov 21, 2011 10:55 am

'sorry admin' wasn't sure where to put this, can't seem to find the non-reiki forum.......

please shift to appropriate place accordingly. Cool

I've been thinking a lot about healing gardens lately so last night had a wee shift around on this machine looking for Japanese gardens in the uk. there is one at Tatton park and I came across one called the Pureland Meditation centre and japanese Garden, its in Nottinghamshire!...and the story of it's coming into being is a fascinating one..... I love you perhaps Wayne has been there????

anyway if any of you good folk out there know of more japanese gardens in the uk please could you write some info here?

also perhaps if there are many japanese gardens abroad people could share some info about them too......I'm toying with the idea of doing a horticulture course over the next couple of years and the idea of creating harmonious healing spaces similar to the Japanese/Zen gardens hold great appeal..... I love you

and seeing how I've ended up in the meetup forum, perhaps we could enquire about hiring the pureland meditation centre for a Reiki Lounge Reiki share????

Just came across this. I've never been there, no. Didnt know it existed to be honest. I'd be up for us going there. Any other takers? Colin? I'm asking Ben now. yeah he is up for it also. Lets see can we get some other interest?

P.S. your post is valid here - re: meetups . Smile

well it started out as a japanese garden enquiry, thats why I didn't know where to put this post...the meetup was an afterthought... Laughing

I'll make some enquiries to the centre about room rentals etc... and of course any meetup date has to be convenient to everyone.. Cool

    Northern hemisphere weather considerations
are important when creating a japanese garden.
if using plants that grow in Japan. sunny

Colin & Sharon, Ben is coming over to visit me this month. A date yet to be fixed. What about we try to co-ordinate it so we can meet-up for a morning or afternoon. doesn't have to be at Sharons place of it's not ready. Though the lake district will be ideal for Ben & I.
