Hi.
Does anyone start off their reiki sessions with a mantra--and if so, what is it?
My Reiki 1 instructor advised me to use the following mantra (which I use to this day): "I invoke the light of Jesus Christ, I am a complete and perfect reiki channel--and Jesus Christ is my guide."
I know reiki is not connected to any one religion--and I'm not trying to imply it is--but that's my mantra!
I know reiki has intelligence and goes to where it is needed--but I thought perhaps if my mantra needed tweaking, that might help.

It's been my experience that the Reiki principles are all I need.
