Today is Valentines day. My brother Paul has passed on.
My thoughts go back in time to our humble beginnings.
His presence will be missed by family and the community
he loved and served during and after the tumultuous
British occupation . His love & teachings of the Gaelic
Language has been passed on to many in his life time.

May he rest in peace

Yes Colin he had quite a sense
of humor. A great love of family
history so much that he and his
sons researched our family history
for decades and then published
"The Origins Of the Liggett Family
In Ardoyne" I mentioned it in the

I'm told that he did pass on peacefully.
The write up in the local paper highlighted his
acheivements as the local historian.I understand
the mayor of Belfast attended his wake/funeral.

how did things go for your grandfather

Hi Bridget, sorry I never got back to you on that... have eeen busy with other things so I haven't been on the forum much. We haven't gone to Ireland yet... possibly between april and may though. My grandfather is ok... He's been in and out of hospital since september though for chemo. I think next week will be the 12th dose... I'm starting to wonder if what they are doing is experimental... As they have done no tests since the chemo began. Now we've all got the flu here...My grandparents are both on antibiotics, and we cant seem to shake it off.... must be something in the air... hmmm. Hope you're well Bridget.

Spring is a good time to visit Ireland.

Chemo/anti-biotics do weaken the immune system.
so you have to be vigilan about building your
immune system. Your grandda has got to be a strong
man to endure 12 doses or more of chemo.

It has been a tough winter. I have a friend come
down with swine flu. As March approaches the #'s
may go higher.

I've been doing a lot of Reiki with him, and the doctors were surprised that he had no hairloss, in contrary to what they had predicted, which would be baldness after 2 weeks ino the chemo. Yeah, chemo, antibiotics and chemtrails... hard to keep the immune system healthy when it's being kicked from all sides...
