Hello Everyone,

Has anyone ever worked with these strange forms of the Distance Symbol and the Master Symbol, they are from of something called Tanran Reiki.

No points for guessing the medium of the "light refraction method" for his mandala (bottom right image on the website).

Have to say there seem to be genuine Tanran practitioners out there - so looks like it's totally valid and worthwhile.

I'm not going to try the symbols though - for me they don't flow - they are like a meld of contradictions.

Love to hear from anyone with experience of this one...

Yes, I also thought of sigils, but old sigils have a different style, this style is something modern, familiar. I have seen it before, I can not remember from where.

I hope it did not seem I was questioning the validity or worthwhileness of Tanran Reiki, I am only curious about these two symbols. Tanran Reiki has recognisable forms of the CKR and SHK (the CKR is wrong way round for me!), but these symbols I have shown here are so totally unlike the regular symbols they are named for.

Hi! I'm a Tanran Reiki Master. The first symbol you've show (distance), is actually the third eye symbol, not the distance healing symbol. The second symbol doesnt appear to be a Tanran Reiki symbol at all... its definantly not the master symbol, and I've never seen it. It looks like it may be two symbols joined, but neither are from Tanran Reiki...

I am also a Tanran Reiki master. I was taught 12 levels by William Bagley.
