hi Frank

Thanks for the info... Drawing CKR with tounge on roof top of mouth is very powerful feeling... However i dont precisely recollect whether the technique was gyoshi ho or gyoshi kokki (or kokyo) ho...one is for empowering breath and other is sweetening of breath for initiations... Please pour some light if you have that info handy atm.

Hey how manage to add accent over 'o' in gassho ? Some keyboard trick?

Take care

to start with, lets see !

........being reiki, we relaize that anger dissipates as soon as we allow freedom to others

........being reiki, my worries dissipate when i detach from outcomes

........being reiki, work is not a burden anymore, rather a path to personal completion

At first when started learning Reiki I had mixed feelings. At first it was what on earth is this all about? Slowly I became quite fascinated when I realised that I could actually not only help myself but also others. After Reiki 2 I began reading books trying to find out as much as I could about the subject. The more I read the feeling of wonder began to be replaced with a desire to learn more and more.

Suddenly I became confused with all the different viewpoints. I was analysing everything ...

hi buddies!

Good noon

reiki sessions often give us a feel of a spiritual experience, or if you choose to describe otherwise, reiki sessions give us a sensation that an energetic 'connection' has been established between us and the client..

within initiations, such 'connection' is more highly visible, and some would say, is the essence of the whole initiation ceremony...

what do you feel about it ? and how do you view about importance of 'rapport' within a reiki session, be it a ...

namaskar,

i have been very busy hence could not post any articles or posts for the past couple of months.

on saturday, i attuned a blind person as reiki master. it was a challenge.

now he is already doing healing work and now will take up teach reiki to his fellow students.

he will utilize the reiki manuals to get some pages , main ones, into braille so that it is easier for them rather than memorizing everything.

i am so happy i wanted to share this information with this site.

Spiritual Healer I love your quote

Give a Reiki treatment and help for a time.

Give the gift of a Reiki attuenment and help for a lifetime!

I have folks who come to me for

Reiki sessions who have been

diagnosed with cancer. I know the

benefits of self-healing yet at a

crisis time in their life they just

need the support system and are

generally not ready to step into a

Practitioner's role,until after they

have healed.

In another topic The Reiki Principles Song (in German) I posted a link to Die Reiki-Lebensregeln (The Reiki "Life Rules")

- sung in German by Annette Rohrbach, accompanied by Henner Rohrbach on guitar.

This time (yes, anyone reading the title of this post will have guessed), here is a link to a version of The Reiki Principles Song, sung in Japanese, by Takahashi-san - apparently one of Hiroshi Doi's Master-level students:

Hi,

I ran across this a couple of nights ago and decided to try it (minus chanting). I laid down while doing this meditation and within seconds I got really warm in my heart area and lower abdomen. The warmth radiated out in circles until they almost met each other. I didn't feel any tingles in my arms or legs, but could not feel my hands nor feet touching each other eventhough I knew they were.

I am curious if anyone does this medition, what you think of it, and your experiences.

Here's what I felt:-

I, so far only have KR1 & KR2 attunements. It was long distance attunements.

With KR1, I felt it in my spine, something climbing up only in a part of my spine.

do they embed SKH to base of skull, viewed by some as seat of sub-concsious ?

It is more than complementary. This word

Apparently, the melding of reiki and egyptian healing energies as a reiki variant was created by the woman who owns this site. I'm thinking of giving it a try at some point, either as a parallel while I continue on to master under the usui "western" tradition, or maybe just start fresh with this newer system, it seems really interesting. thoughts/ experiences with it? opinions?

"Don't worry". What's the point in worry? What a waste of energy worry is. Yet it keeps coming back to harass some more. How to handle worry? Do you console it and hope it calms down for awhile? Worry is an indicator of insecurity of some kind. Best to face it and accept it as "human frailty". Shifting focus on something constructive is a good strategy. When I catch myself "worrying", I get involved in an activity that I like doing...like a favorite hobby, ...

I would like to invite others to send reiki to the BP oil spill this weekend. I've sent a little already and felt improvements, but would assume that the more the merrier.

If you have a free 10-30 minutes in the next several days, think of the BP oil spill and send reiki to it.

I've been scanning other REIKI forums and came across a very interesting topic: there are actually practitioners out there who are "AFRAID OF THE SYMBOLS". How is it possible that these people suspect the symbols to be linked to "sorcery"? VERY ODD. It contradicts everything I know about REIKI.

So, just trying to deepen my understanding..I understand western reiki is based on takata and some hayashi, while traditional is more pure usui..anyone have an opinion on which is more effective and why? or is it that both are equally effective depending on the situation?

Do we really get what we put into during the hours of time we spend doing reiki on ourselves?

Are there people who obsess over every last amount of spiritual benefit that they can muster?

Are they wasting their lives?

I'm not sure how hypothetical this question is.

I feel as though I've put more time into Reiki than I've gotten out of it. I'm not sure how much of an amateur I am at selfhealing. I know I don't do full body self treatments enough, I'm more typically focussed on one byosen ...

Is ethical behavior important? What does it mean? How do we take care of ourselves, to make sure we are always mindful of ethical challenges?
